Website, branding and graphics for a training broker
Hazel Langley, the owner of the training company Induction Junction, appointed us to produce her new website.
This is Hazel’s third website, so this time she wanted more than just a website developer. The Hive of Design team provided a range of services, including logo design, branding, website design, UX design, copywriting and animation.

Issues with the old logo:
- There was no reason for the large letter “O” on the word “Induction” and it looks odd.
- The yellow colour is hard to read on a white background and didn’t conform to website colour-contrast standards.
The core services of the business are PC-based training courses and bespoke training solutions. So we designed a new symbol, with the letters “I” and “J” positioned to resemble a person sitting in front of a screen.
The old icons had no consistency:

We created a set of brand guidelines with a colour palette and specified which fonts to use.
We created animations to bring movement and interest to the website.
We built Hazel a WordPress website so it’s easy for her to edit the range of courses she offers.
Hazel wanted the full package, so before the website build started, we created a website proposal. This included planning the customer journey and carrying out research on her competitors.
Hazel also hired us to create website content for her, so we sourced stock images and wrote some of the website’s copy.
